The Lagos State Chapter of the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria, GOMAN has described the death of late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo as a huge loss to the industry.
Okposo died in the early hours of Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 51.
In a release issued in Lagos, GOMAN Governor, Evangelist Olayiwola Pholat condoled the family.
“This is a huge loss to the music industry and Nigeria as a whole.
“Sammie Okpso’s sudden demise is a huge blow that only God can relieve.
” May God comfort his family, the family of gospel singers in Nigeria, as well as the nation as a whole.
“May his soul rest in perfect peace.
”The Lagos State GOMAN Governor said “burial arrangements will be made available as soon as they are released by the family.”
