In the statement , labour alleged that the state government is not willing to conclude negotiation and onward payment of the new minimum wage for more than one year.
“The organized labour is highly worried that for about one month now after a written letter to the government to remind her on the need for the implementation of promotion in the month of April, 2021, government remains adamant over this sensitive demand of workers’ welfare and entitlement.
“Therefore, we wish to keep you posted to be battle ready in order to press home our demands should the government continue to treat these issues with levity”, it reads further.
