Kwara Govt Approves N41m Malaria Counterpart Fund

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved forty-one million naira for malaria program in the year 2020.

The Honourable Commissioner for Health Dr Raji Razaq revealed this in a meeting with Long Lasting Campaign Coordinating Network Committee (LLCCN) at the ministry Premises.

He said the State Government has been very proactive in improving the standard of health care service delivery in the state

Dr Raji commended the partners and stakeholders for a wonderful and successful flag off program which motivated the Executive Governor to release 41 million naira for this year counterpart fund for malaria program.

Mr John Ocholi appreciate the State Government for the high level of commitments for the program which is matching to a successful ends.

He as well commended the management in health sector for their proactiveness in quality health care delivery to the downtrodden masses in the State.

Mr Ocholi said the distribution has started five days ago and so far there is success report on the exercise.

The Campaign Manager, Mr Dangana Christopher said he has partake in many Net campaign but the Kwara net campaign is one of the best so far this year, he enumerated some of the commitment since the commencement of the program
He said the announcement of the counterpart fund by the state government is super and the State Governor deserves more than kudos for the high level of political will.

Though there are some slight issues to be rectified and the management are attending to that.

The meeting was attended by all LLCCN committee members.
