According to a police investigation, Dr Abas, allegedly killed one Nasifat Halidu, a worker at the Kaiama General Hospital and concealed her body in a waste bin kept in his store and poured concrete cement on her in order to cover up the act.

Similarly, one Olanipekun Ifeoluwa Ibukun was allegedly killed by the suspect and her body dumped in the bush at Alapa, Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The suspect reportedly confessed to having also sedated one Abubakar, a Fulani boy before handing him over to his syndicate and the victim has not yet been found to date.

The suspect further confessed that he was instrumental in the death of a young lady who he buried in a shallow grave in his office in the hospital, which he covered with tiles to avoid suspicion.

It was also revealed during discreet investigations by the police that Dr Abas and his accomplice, killed one Abdulazeez Saliu after luring and borrowing the sum of N15m from him.

Speaking while parading the 36- year-old suspect in Ilorin on Monday evening, February 20, 2023, the state Police commissioner, Paul Odama, said the doctor also harvested organs of some of his victims.

The CP added that the command is closing in on other members of syndicate involved in the crime
