The family of Veteran Nigerian actor Jimi Solanke has released details for his funeral ceremony.
According to the activities release on Tuesday, the late Solanke will be buried on Friday, April 5, at a private cemetery.
The funeral service will take place at the Methodist Church Nigeria in Ipara-Remo, Ogun State
The week-long activities will commence with a choral concert at Ibudo Asa, Ipara Remo, on Monday, April 1, 2024, alongside events like a night of tribute at Freedom Park, Lagos, candlelight processions at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, and Ipara-Remo, Ogun State.
On Saturday, April 6, there will be cultural and masquerade displays, among other programmes.
The burial events will end on April 7, 2024, with a thanksgiving service
Recall that Solanke died on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the age of 81.
