According to him, 60 personnel have been assigned to Dutse, the state capital, while each of the state’s emirate headquarters will receive 40 personnel.

In addition, all 27 local government areas will have 20 Hisbah personnel deployed to monitor activities and support security arrangements at Eid prayer grounds.

Dr. Fa’iz urged residents, particularly young people, to avoid alcohol, illicit drugs, and any activities capable of disrupting public peace during the festivities.

He called on the Muslim community to remain law-abiding, peaceful, and respectful of constituted authorities.

The Hisbah Commander General also stressed the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining security, noting that peaceful celebrations would contribute to the success of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities across the state.

He further prayed for Allah’s guidance, protection, and blessings upon the people of Jigawa State and Nigeria at large, especially at a time when the country continues to face economic and security challenges.

The deployment comes as authorities across the country intensify efforts to ensure a safe and hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir celebration, with security and community-based organizations working together to safeguard lives and property.
