Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has announced the appointment of 59 new aides and the reassignment of three Special Advisers.

This development was confirmed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Bala Ibrahim, on Wednesday.

Among the new appointees are two Special Advisers, eight Senior Special Assistants, and 49 Special Assistants.

The reassigned Special Advisers are Hudu Babangida, who moves from Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs (Dutse Emirate) to Special Adviser on Senior Citizens Affairs; Samaila Dawaki, now Special Adviser on Micro Finance Banks; and Lawan Garba (Bullet), reassigned to Special Adviser on Political Affairs.

Muhammad Baffale Abbas – Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs

Zakari Ya’u Garba – Senior Special Assistant on Social Security

Muhammad Adamu Dansitta – Senior Special Assistant on Agric Business NGOs
