Tein Jack-Rich, a former presidential aspirant, has dismissed the purported allegations of infidelity and sex scandal levelled against his wife, Elizabeth and Seyi Tinubu, son of the president.
The allegations were leveled by Jackson Ude, who served as an aide in President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Jack-Rich described the allegations in the media space as malicious fabrications, sponsored by political elements, to injure the future and integrity of his wife and their children.
He appealed to Nigerians to disregard the allegations against his family and those of other prominent Nigerians.
In a statement, signed on behalf of the family by High Chief I.J. Ibiwari on Sunday,
The statement read;
“Dear fellow Nigerians, the attention of the family of Tein T.S. Jack-Rich CON, has been drawn to the recent provocative, malicious, preposterous, unwarranted, distasteful, and unsubstantiated publication by politically sponsored agents within the past two days, making several spurious allegations against the person and family of Jack-Rich, all with the intention of maligning his name and reputation.
“It is also sad that this is with the aim of gaining cheap political relevance within the emerging political space.
“On behalf of the family, we wish to state unequivocally clearly, and with all sense of responsibility that the entirety of the allegations are not only unfounded and childish, but also depict the nature and character of the persons and evil elements behind them; who are also well known by their political brigandage and desperation for political relevance.
“Just another figment of the convoluted imagination of persons who see him as a major obstacle to their desperate dreams, aspirations, and political desperation for survival because they have lost their own political roots.
“Let it be re-emphasised here again that Tein Jack-Rich did not, will not, and will never need to bribe anyone for any political appointment in a party he just recently served as the Vice-Chairman, Finance Committee, of the Presidential Campaign, that his party won”.
“With honour, we appreciate your understanding, and for detesting the avalanche of the most injuriously preposterous insult metted on the family by mischievous politicians.
“These miscreants’ only vision is to promote their likes, to stay in public office by any means, to continue to feed fat from what we produce as their spend, yet they have no respect for producers and employers of labour.
”Those who understand family as core, detest these type of political charlatans with satanic lifestyle because they have no respect for society with what they say,” the family said in the letter.
It also noted that those behind these attacks are just envious of Mrs Jack-Rich’s giant strides as a young woman.
”This is the climax of political desperation by desperadoes who want to forcefully enter a house they fought against.
The family alleged that the accusers have taken up a new style of attack after the failure of previous efforts.
”Their vice style is attack to enter. Now they want to come inside the house by attacking those who are the builders of the house they once fought.
”Nigerians are watching with keenness what will become of this melancholy.
