Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has declared August 20 a work-free day to mark 2024 Isese Day in the state.
Makinde’s declaration was contained in a circular issued by the Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo.
and made available to DAILY POST by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
The statement said:
“The governor, in the circular, encouraged all traditional worshippers and all citizens to use the day to pray for the peace, unity and stability of the state in particular and the country in general.”
