The Daura Emirate in Katsina State has suspended all celebrations for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir over state of the nation bordering insecurity.
The decision of the Emirate was made known to press in a letter addressed to the Emir’s council members and advisers dated the 13th of July 2021 and signed by Danejin Daura, Alhaji Abdulmumini Salihu on behalf of the secretary of the council.
The statement further said that special prayers will be offered for sustainable peace in the state immediately after the Eid prayers on Sallah day.
Recall that the Emirate Council had also suspended same Sallah celebrations for the Eid-El-Fitr months back.
