The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the constitution of the Board of Directors of the Abia State Water and Sewerage Corporation.
The ten members board has Mr. Henry Akujuobi Nwachukwu as the Chairman.

Other members of the board are: Barrister Anthony Onyebuchi Anyanwu, Mrs. Agodi Onyeaso,Mr. Chidi Elvis Nkem- Aruoma ,Engr. Osuoha Kingsley ,Engr. Emma Nwabuko,Hon. Tony Nwanmuo ,Sir Romanus Madu,Lady Uloma Harley Onuoha and Mrs Charity Ihejirika.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Onyebuchi Ememanka said the appointment which is for a four year term and on part time basis, takes immediate effect.
