Professor Bello Abubakar, the personal doctor of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has been arrested by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.
The ICPC said Abubakar was arrested for allegedly misleading the commission to believe that El-Rufai was being attended to at the National Hospital in Abuja.
According to the commission, the arranged medical visit was used for activities outside the scope contemplated by the court and the ICPC.
The arrest is the latest development in the ongoing case involving the former governor.
