The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE, has added 10 Nigerians to the Department of Homeland Security’s “Worst of the Worst” register for criminal immigrants.

The updated list was published on Friday on the official DHS website. According to DHS, the register highlights what it described as the “worst of worst criminal aliens” arrested by ICE.

The individuals are listed for offences ranging from fraud and identity theft to child-related and drug offenses.

The 10 Nigerians and the offences listed against them are:

1.Temitope Bashua—Fraud by wire, identity theft and fraud—Allenwood, Pennsylvania

2. Ojehoro Lewis—Cruelty toward child—Conroe, Texas

3. Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe—Fraud by wire—Louisville, Kentucky

4. Daniel Oworen—Dangerous drugs—Conroe, Texas

5. Raymond H. Ekevwo—Fraud by wire—Oxford, Wisconsin

6. Franklin Dikeocha—Sex offence against child—fondling—Dallas, Texas

7. Johnson Ogunlana—Fraud and identity theft—White Deer, Pennsylvania

8. Chukwuemeka Okorocha—Fraud by wire, dangerous drugs, possession of weapon, aggravated assault, non-family gun—Allenwood, Pennsylvania

9. Chukwuemeka Chinye—Larceny from a banking-type institution, fraud, larceny, identity theft and conspiracy—Pollock, LouisianaNews

DHS said the action was part of mass deportation efforts under President Trump’s administration, starting with high-profile offenders.

“Under DHS leadership, the hardworking men and women of DHS and ICE are fulfilling President Trump’s promise and carrying out mass deportations—starting with the worst of the worst—including the illegal aliens you see here,” the department said
