Unknown gunmen today on Thursday set ablaze the secretariat in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The gunmen, who rode on motorbikes, used a truck to block the road, after which they entered the secretariat, and set it ablaze.
The gunmen also destroyed shops situated in the secretariat.
Aguata Local Government is the area where Governor Charles Soludo hails from.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, is yet to confirm if there were any casualties.
