A mosque located at Jalo Junction in Saminaka area of Jalingo metropolis, Taraba State, was on Thursday, October 20, invaded by gunmen during Magrib prayers.
The gunmen numbering about 10, killed a worshipper before abducting a businessman and his son who is a secondary school students.
The kidnappers have reportedly killed several persons, including a policeman and abducted more than 30 people in the area in the last few months.
The kidnappers who are reportedly operating from mountains across river Lamurde in Ardo-Kola local government area, have forced many residents to relocate from the area.
