Gunmen have attacked a court facility in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State leaving one person dead.
The gunmen reportedly invaded the Ejemekwuru Customary Court in the area on Thursday and killed its Chairman, Nnaemeka Ugboma.
The incident reportedly caused panic in the community, forcing lawyers, court staff as well as residents to flee for safety.
Although the State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident, it was gathered that the attackers stormed the area in motorcycles, while Mr. Ugboma was still in the court premises, and shot him dead.
