Gunmen have killed Prof. Olisaemeka Chukwuma, a lecturer at the Delta State University, Abraka.
Chukwuma, 56, Bursary Department, was killed in his home at St. Bridges area of Umueji, Asaba, the Delta state capital, over the weekend.
It was gathered that Chukwuma, 56, returned to his home town, Umueji on Friday evening, Jan. 24, to spend the weekend when the assassins killed him in his house.
Prof. Chukuwuma usually returns home every weekend and it appeared the assailants were aware of this.
Friends and colleagues have gone on social media to mourn him while many are calling om the authorities to hunt down his killers.
