Unknown gunmen have abducted an Assistant Superintendent of Police, ( ASP) serving in Ilorin, Kwara State, Abdulmumini Yusuf.
The security officer was reportedly kidnapped at Ogidi community in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.
He was said to have been forcefully abducted when he was about to enter his house.
The Kwara state Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama, who confirmed the incident said efforts are being made to rescue the officer safely and also arrest the kidnappers.
