Gunmen have kidnapped Nduka Anyanwu, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for Ahiazu Mbaise constituency in 2023 election into the Imo State House of Assembly.
Anyanwu was reportedly abducted on Tuesday morning, November 22, 2022 on his way to finalise arrangements for his booth agents in Ahiazu.
The gunmen were said to have waylaid the APGA candidate on his way to see his booth agents.
“We call on security agents to track them.
“We call on the public who might have any useful information to inform any nearby police station.
“Just happened around 9.00am today, Tuesday, 22nd November 2022,” source told the sun.
According to the source, efforts are being made to secure his release.
