In a statement issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, the governor described the Federal Government’s decision as a timely intervention that will significantly ease the financial strain on families and support broader access to basic and secondary education.

Governor Yusuf commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration for ongoing reforms within the educational sector and acknowledged Minister of Education Dr. Tunji Alausa and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) for their role in facilitating school infrastructure projects through counterpart funding.

The governor reaffirmed the commitment of the Kano State Government to partner with federal agencies, including UBEC and NECO, to improve educational standards and student outcomes across the state.
