A gas-carrying tanker exploded on Sunday night along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun state.
According to reports, the incident happened near Lotto bridge, Mowe. There is yet to be a confirmed report of any casualty.
FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe, confirmed the explosion, saying that the rescue operation was ongoing.
She said “there is a gas tanker explosion around Lotto, on Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The FRSC rescue team is on the ground for the rescue operation.
