Bandits have released five more students of Bethel Baptist School, located in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna state.
The School matron was also released.
They were released on Friday, after spending about 95 days in the custody of their abductors.
121 students were kidnapped on July 5 when a group of armed men invaded the school in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev Israel Adelani Akanji confirmed the release of the students on Friday night.
Akanji said;
“Glory be to God. Five of our Bethel Baptist High School students and the Matron (Making 6) have just been released to us this evening, October 8.
“We thank God and trust that the remaining four students will also be released. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
