Fire has gutted a plank market in the Ebute Metta area of Lagos State.
Operatives of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency are said to be currently attending to the fire outbreak at the Oko Baba plank market.
An X user, Adedeji Olalekan, while sharing updates on the fire incident, said the inferno affected the shanties in the market.
“Okobaba Street is on fire now, all the shanties are burning,” he tweeted.
