He said General Hospital Ganye is one of the strategically located Secondary Health Facility that provides the so much needed secondary care and referral services in the Southern Senatorial Zone.

“Strengthening Health Service delivery at the secondary level will no doubt improve the quality of Secondary Health Service provision in addition to strengthening the ability of the hospital to provide referral services which is required to support our Primary Health Centres and Maternities which are managed by lower cadre of staff in the health care system. “

“As part of the efforts of his administration to strengthen health service delivery, there is a need to upgrade our General Hospitals as we are doing today cannot be overemphasized. “

He also said, ” by laying the foundations and also renovating these critical parts of General Hospital Ganye, we are expanding and improving the capacity of the hospital to deliver secondary health care services while also strengthening the referral services; these are critical if we are to improve health service delivery at all levels in line with his 11 point Agenda.”

Governor Fintiri assured that government will remain committed towards improving the health outcomes of it’s citizens even as it will continue to work closely with key Stakeholders in Health including Non Governmental Organizations who have worked tirelessly to improve health service delivery in Adamawa State.

We will remain focused as we aim to impact positively on Health Service delivery at all levels.
