Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the construction of 4.6km Road directing from Adamawa Television Corporation (ATV) Junction to Permanent Site of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Damare at the cost of N1.8 Billion and 6.8km Mubi Byepass Road at the estimated cost of N3.4 Billion.
The Commissioner of Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku stated that the two contracts were awarded to Mess Triacta Nigeria Limited with a completion period of twelve (12) Months and said that the flag-off of the projects is this year, starting from next week.
The Commissioner divulged that the Council has also approved the Installation of 166 single arm and 266 double arm Solar powered streetlights at the Grade Interchange and underpass and four connecting roads at the cost of N368 Million.
He disclosed that the approved projects are in line with current Administration agenda on Urban and Rural renewal, aimed and designed at prettifying the State and rebuilding and rehabilitating socioeconomic and demographic of the State.
