The Federal Government has listed four borders Nigerians fleeing the Ukraine-Russian war can use to access Poland.
The borders are Hrebenne-Rawa Ruska, Korczowa-Krawkowiec, Medyka-Szeginie and Budomierz-Hurszew.
Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa recommended the borders for Nigerians on Saturday February 26.
She noted that “Nigerian volunteer groups, as well as staff of Nigerian Embassy, will be at the border to pick Nigerians.”
The Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital and New Media, Bashir Ahmad also wrote:
“The Nigerian Embassy staff, along with volunteers are at the Polish-Ukrainian borders with buses to help and pick up Nigerians crossing the border from Ukraine.

This is coming after the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Ministry said there are no fewer than 5,600 Nigerians in Ukraine, majority of who are students.
