Federal University of Technology (FUT) Babura in Jigawa State has approved the appointment of Chief Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, the Olowo of Owo Kingdom in Ondo State, as its pioneer chancellor.
The university’s Secretary of Information and Publicity, Mr. Mustafa Ibrahim made the announcement in a statement.
The investiture ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the university’s permanent site along Kano Road in Babura town, Babura local government area of Jigawa State.
Alongside the event, the university will also conduct the matriculation of newly admitted students for the 2023/2024 academic session.
