The Eze Ndigbo of Ondo State, Sir Gregory Iloehika, have cried out over the marginalization of Igbos residing in the state saying that they have not in any way benefitted from the good gestures of the present administration in the state.

Speaking with Journalists in Akure on Tuesday, Sir Iloehika cleared the air following insinuations and allegations that the Igbos are the main beneficiaries of all economic gains of the present administration.

“If you find any Igbo man executing any contract here in the state, he or she bought it. As far as I am concerned, no Igbo man resident in Ondo State benefited from this government. Any Igbo man you see doing contract, bought the contract”, he restated

He nontheless expressed the Igbo community’s readiness to support the sitting Governor.

“As a leader of my community, we will support the Governor in all that we can do. If any politician come here for my blessing, I owe it to them to welcome and honour them too. During the era of Governor Mimiko, he gave us N20million loan and during our festivities, Mimiko supports us with over 100 bags of rice alongside other items. The land we purchased for the community, Governor Mimiko contributed a lot to building of the structure to the point where it is” he recounted.

While lauding the achievements of the State Governor in the areas of infrastructural development, health care delivery, payment of backlog of salaries among other thing,Eze Ndigbo acknowledged that Akeredolu is indeed a ‘talk and do’ Governor who has done very well for the people and deserves the support of the people.
