Air Peace and Etihad Airways have signed an interline agreement aimed at enhancing air connectivity across Nigeria, West Africa, and Central Africa.

The partnership will allow passengers to travel across both airlines’ networks using a single ticket.

The agreement expands access to 20 domestic and regional destinations for Etihad Airways passengers while enabling Air Peace customers to seamlessly connect to Abu Dhabi through Etihad’s services in Lagos and Accra once those routes commence.

Covered domestic locations include Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Benin City, Owerri, Warri, and Asaba, alongside regional hubs such as Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Bamako, Douala, and Libreville.

Officials from both carriers stated that the alliance aligns with Etihad’s broader African expansion strategy, which features a planned daily flight between Abu Dhabi and Lagos.

Once activated, combined itineraries will be available for booking on the platforms of both airlines.

The partnership comes as commercial relations between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates continue to grow following the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed in January 2026.

It marks another step in Air Peace’s effort to establish Lagos as a key regional aviation hub, following previous interline and prorate agreements signed with Turkish Airlines and Emirates earlier in the year.
