The Enugu State Government says it will on Friday,Nov 6th commenced the distribution of agricultural inputs for dry season farming to 2,000 poor and vulnerable farmers across the 17 local government areas of the state.
In a statement on Thursday, the state government says the initiative under the World Bank Assisted CARES Programme, is aimed at boosting agricultural productivity and stimulating rural economy.

The agricultural inputs include cassava stem, rice seed, fertilizer and herbicides.
