Imo State Governor ,Hope Uzodinma has assured the state police Command of government support in rebuilding the police stations that were razed during the hijack of the #EndSARS protest

The Governor made the promise while on an inspection tour with the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to the Police Stations and formations affected during the #EndSARS protest which was hijacked by hoodlums to cause mayhem in Imo State.

The IG expressed displeasure over the dastard act which was a calculated attempt by the hoodlums to dislodge the security agency before embarking on their nefarious activities.

IGP Adamu stressed that the force intelligence will fish out those behind the arson and stealing of arms and ammunitions from all the Police stations and formations across the state and the nation at large.

Governor ,Hope Uzodimma assured the IGP readiness of the state government to continually collaborate with the force to further secure of lives and properties of the people

The Governor appealed to the officers and men of the force,not to be deterred or demoralized by the incident of the past weeks assuring that government will look into the welfare of the police especially in offsetting the hospital bills of injured police officers.
