Hon. Desmond Elliot has secured the release of five arrested #EndSARS protesters who were detained at Area C Police station, Surulere.

This followed a call by the Speaker ,House of Representatives ,Femi Gbajabiamila to the state Commissioner of Police and Desmond Elliot in earlier tweets calling for their release.

Desmond Elliot who is representing Surulere Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, followed through with the instructions and thus help secured the release of those arrested.

In a series of tweet,about 3 hrs after the initial ones the speaker however announced that all six protesters have been released assuring that the right of the people will always be protected at all times.

We have been able to secure the release of
1. Okara Nkem
2 Ayodeji Ayeni
3 Nduka Treasure
4 Adeola Adebayo
5 Adetifa Olanrewaju Samuel

The 6th detained person ADEMOLA OJABODU was transferred to Panti police station and all will be done to effect his release too.
