Eight passengers reportedly sustained injuries in a bus accident that occurred at Yangoji, along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
The accident happened around 6:04 pm on Wednesday, involving an 18-seater commuter Hiace bus with registration number ABJ 49 XH.
According to a witness, the bus, travelling at high speed from the Lokoja axis, hit a pothole, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a ditch.
Eight passengers, comprising four male adults and four female adults, were injured as a result of the impact.
It was gathered that officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, evacuated the victims into their patrol van and transported them to the hospital.
