A yet- to- be identified operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has committed suicide at his residence in Abuja.
It was learnt that the operative, a member of Course 5 took his life on Monday.
He was described as a diligent, efficient, and unassuming operative.
When contacted on the incident, the EFCC spokesperson, Mr. Dele Oyewale told PRNigeria that an investigation was currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the suicide.
The EFCC has not released the operative’s name.
The Commission said more details will be provided as “more pieces of information become available.”
