Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested three men for spraying naira notes on a celebrant at a funeral ceremony in Asaba, Delta State.
According to a statement by EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, the three men were arrested by operatives of the Benin zonal Command.
The suspects identified as Stanley Ogbolu, 35, Odiaka Sorwu 42, and Kelvin Anyakwu, 42 were arrested following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in Naira abuse.
He said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
