Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested 15 male suspects for their alleged involvement in illegal dealing on radioactive solid minerals.
A statement posted on the agency’s official X page stated that the suspects were intercepted on March 8, 2026, along the Suleja Maji Road, Niger State.
Findings by the commission indicate that the materials were being conveyed to different locations across the country for purposes that have not yet been disclosed.
The EFCC said the suspects are currently in custody at its Kaduna Zonal Directorate, where further investigations are ongoing
They will soon be charged to court.
