Nigerian Music Icon, Eedris Abdulkareem, has lauded Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo for his commitment to development in the State, promising to say more in his coming music album.

The commendation followed the tour of completed and ongoing projects across the state.

The Music Icon was led in the tour of infrastructure sites around Benin City, by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua.

The sites visited included the ongoing Fly Over and road construction on Sapele Road, the near completion Fly Over at the Ramat Park, and the Gully Erosion Control and road construction in and around the Temboga-Ekiuwa Road axis.

According to Eedris, he had been in Edo State for the third day, following an invitation from the Governor, whom he described as a democrat for listening to the voice of reasoning and rescinding the decision to reopen Mega Hub, where he performed and made some statements against President Bola Tinubu, concerning the spate of insecurity in the Country.

In his words, “I have gone round Edo State and I have seen what the Governor has done, and I will tell you, that you all should wait and see when my Music speak for me. I want to say that from what I have seen, you know, the Government is on the right track. I am not going to speak too much, wait for my music to speak.

“Governor Monday, I want to say thank you for listening to the voice of the people. Thank you for doing what you have done, and I am looking forward to drop everything that I have experienced in a song.”

The Music Icon disclosed that he would be in the State again for another three weeks and that he will say all that he has seen without compromise.

Recall that he has been with the Governor to inspect completed projects and ongoing infrastructures sites in other senatorial districts of the State.
