The Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, has opened applications for the 2027 Batch of the ECOWAS Young Professional Immersion Programme, YPIP.
The Nigeria Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement by it’s Spokesperson, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, said the one-year, fully paid professional immersion programme is designed to provide young citizens of ECOWAS Member States with practical experience within regional institutions.
According to the statement, participants will contribute to the implementation of regional integration initiatives and develop technical and professional skills under the guidance of experienced experts.
The Ministry stated that interested applicants must be 32 years of age or younger and possess a degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Applications will be open from July 31 to August 31, 2026.

The Ministry encouraged qualified young Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunity to acquire professional experience, contribute to regional integration, and enhance their career prospects.
