Glamour filled Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital at the weekend as twin brothers married twin sisters in a joint ceremony, with both couples bearing matching names.

Oguntoye Taiwo Oye married Taiwo, one of the twin sisters, while Oguntoye Kehinde Oladele wed the younger sister, Kehinde. The couple had their traditional engagement rites on Friday, followed by the main white wedding on Saturday.

The colourful double wedding drew guests from across the country, as the two pairs exchanged vows before family, friends and well-wishers in a ceremony marked by coordinated attire and celebration.

Residents described the event as rare and memorable, noting that such unions remain uncommon and often attract public attention for their symmetry and cultural significance.

The newlyweds expressed joy at starting their families together, saying the shared bond between the twins made the occasion even more special and meaningful.
