If you are members of Living Faith Tabernacle and you have been wondering what has been happening to your tithes and offerings in the church, the General Overseer, Bishop David Oyedepo has just dropped a startling bombshell on that.

The money has allegedly been going into the pockets of some highly placed individuals in the church and about 45 million naira was said to have been rescued from going into the church account by the so-called leaders.

The G.O confirmed this development at the empowerment summit organised for the ordained workers of the church on Saturday.

Oyedepo who was apparently livid with rage berated the trusted professionals who were appointed by the church to prevent fraud from being perpetrated but ended up turning themselves to a network of fraudsters.

“Can you imagine accountants perpetrate fraud in the church of God? We had no choice but to dismiss them. You can imagine top church leaders doubling figures and other dubious activities.

“Even after we dismissed them, we still discovered more fraud. Those who should discover the fraud were the ones involved in it. One of them refused to confess until the last minute” Oyedepo said.

Although, the man of God claimed they have been dismissed and strictly warned any member against offering them employment or sympathise with them, how their dismissals will continue to safeguard the tithe and offering in the church remains a big question begging for an answer.
