Davido has cut ties with Danny Gorilla Wasiu known as Lil Frosh terminating his contract with his music label ,Davido Music Worldwide,DMV over allegations of abuse by his ex girlfriend, Gift Camille.

In a statement released on his verified Instagram page on Tuesday, Davido said,the record label will not trivialize issues of domestic violence and as such will not condone such behaviour.

The statement reads “In light of the recent allegations made against Mr Sanni Goriola Wasiu aka Lil Frosh, we would like to state that as a record label, domestic violence is not a trivial matter and we will never support or condone such behaviour,” it read in part.

“There is no excuse for the actions of Lil Frosh and we understand that there is nothing that can be said or down to take away the insensitivity shown.”

“Upon internal investigations carried out by the label, we are left with no option than to terminate the recording contract exists between the label and Lil Frosh, effective immediately. We hereby immediately severe all affiliations with Mr. Sanni Goriola a.ka. Lil Frosh.

“Once again, we do not condone domestic violence and stand with all victims of domestic violence.”

Wasiu just got officially signed into DMW on the 24th of September after leaving his former label “Aloma Music Worldwide” for what he termed “irreconcilable differences” and this new contract has been terminated just 12 days later.
