The Deeper Christian Life Ministry has announced the death of a senior pastor, Livinus Nnadozie.
Nnadozie, who was pastor for a group of districts in Lagos, was a close ally of the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi.
A statement by the Church Secretary, S.M. Afuwape, said that the 78-year-old died on Tuesday after battling a protracted illness.
The statement read, “In total submission to the will of God and with gratitude for a glorious life spent in the service of the Lord, the Church wishes to announce the passing on to glory of Pastor Livinus Polycarp Nnadozie, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and a Group Pastor in Old Alimosho District.
“Pastor Livinus Polycarp Nnadozie served meritoriously as the General Manager of Life Press Limited and as Church Secretary for many years before his retirement on 30th November, 2008.
“In addition, he served as State Overseer of Ebonyi State from 2003 to 2005.
“The wife, children and extended family members need our prayers at this time.
“Details of the burial announcement will be communicated later.”
