Òjó in a statement personally signed said the victory gives Oyebanji room to deepen his “Roadmap to a Prosperous Ekiti,” adding that citizens’ trust in the roadmap agenda ended the one-term cycle in the State and delivered him two straight terms.

” Your re-election is a great opportunity to solidify and improve on your development plan, title the “Roadmap to a prosperous Ekiti” that comprises;

  • Youth Development and Job creation
  • Human Capital Development
  • Agriculture and Rural Development
  • Infrastructure and Industrialization
  • Art, Culture, and Tourism
  • Governance

“Because the citizens believed and trusted your implementation of the roadmap agenda that was why you broke the yoke of one term governor in our dear state and won a straight uninterrupted two terms.” the statement read in part.

While commending the administration for aligning with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda Òjó prayed for a better second term and expressed hope that the momentum will be sustained for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s January 2027 re-election bid.
