Davido has featured in an official soundtrack for World Cup.
The Nigerian singer is part of a group of musicians who have put together the official soundtrack for the 2022 World Cup holding in Qatar.
The award-winning artiste took to Twitter to make the announcement, tweeting, “I’m honored to be featured on the Official ?@FIFAWorldCup? 2022 Soundtrack ! See y’all later 2NITE ! This one is for Africa ! TULE!!!! WE RISE !”
The soundtrack which is titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ also featured Trinidad’s Cardona and Qatar’s Aisha.
The song was executive produced by the Moroccan-Swedish singer, songwriter, RedOne. He is also Creative Entertainment Executive at FIFA.
“By bringing together voices from the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, this song symbolises how music – and football – can unite the world,” said FIFA Chief Commercial Officer Kay Madati.
