The Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to begin the  distribution of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel across the country starting August 15, 2025.

According to the refinery, the products will be made available to marketers, fuel dealers, manufacturers, telecom firms, aviation operators, and other major users. Delivery logistics will be fully covered by the refinery, ensuring nationwide access to its products.

To support the rollout, Dangote has acquired 4,000 brand-new tankers powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The company is also expanding its distribution infrastructure with new CNG stations and over 100 support tankers.

This will ensure smooth delivery across all regions, benefiting multiple sectors, including telecoms and manufacturing, by lowering fuel-related expenses and boosting productivity.

Petrol stations that source products directly from the refinery will enjoy improved logistics support. High-volume buyers, those purchasing at least 500,000 litres, will have access to a credit facility offering another 500,000 litres for two weeks under a bank guarantee.

The initiative is expected to revive dormant fuel stations, improve supply to rural areas, create jobs, and support small businesses.

It will also boost investor confidence in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector.

The refinery says this project aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and acknowledges the Federal Government’s support, particularly through the Naira-for-Crude scheme.

Stakeholders are encouraged to register for participation between June 16 and August 15, with customer verification required as part of the process.

This initiative is expected to make fuel more accessible and affordable for all Nigerians, transforming the country’s fuel distribution landscape.
