A yet-to-be-identified commuter was allegedly shot dead by operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service on Sunday along the Osogbo–Iwo Road in Osun State.
According to a video of the scene obtained online, the incident occurred at the Onibueja area in Ido-Osun near a police roadblock around 10 am.
The perpetrators were said to be security operatives in mufti who were reportedly pursuing the deceased driver from the Iwo end of the road.
In the video, the victim’s vehicle was seen riddled with bullets, while angry residents gathered at the scene and demanded a probe into the incident.
