The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported four more deaths in the country on Monday with 422 new cases.
The health agency in it’s late night post on Monday said the 422 new cases were reported in nine States.
Lagos the epicentre reported 190 new cases followed by Rivers State with 86new cases.
Ogun State came third on Monday table of new infections reporting 85 new cases of COVID19.
Other States are Oyo-22, FCT-20, Kwara-7
Edo-5, Abia-4 and Bayelsa with 3new cases.
The figures on Monday showed that with the five new deaths, the virus has so far claimed 2,192 lives in Nigeria.
While 178,508 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria so far 165,982 have been treated and discharged.
