The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 457 new cases of coronavirus bringing the total infections in the country to 44,890.
NCDC in a tweet via its official Twitter account on Wednesday night said the new Infections were reported from 20 states including the Federal Capital Territory.
Lagos has the highest number with 137 new Infections followed by FCT which reported 76 new cases.

Other states with new infections are; Plateau-40, Rivers-35, Enugu-34, Oyo-25, Abia-23, Delta-12, Edo-11, Ebonyi-11, Cross River-10, Kwara-10, Kaduna-9, Anambra-7, Ogun-5, Imo-3, Bauchi-3, Osun-2, Nasarawa-2, Kano-1 and Ekiti-1.
The NCDC also confirmed 17 new COVID-19 related deaths across the country bringing the total death toll to 927 while 32,165 patients have been discharged.
