1270 new COVID19 cases were recorded in Nigeria on Tuesday even as the number of confirmed cases now stands at 102,601.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease control,NCDC announced this via it’s social media accounts on Tuesday night even as it recorded 12 deaths in a single day.
The health agency said the new cases were recorded in
Lagos-435, FCT-234, Oyo-103, Plateau-86
Rivers-71, Enugu-51, Nasarawa-41, Delta-39
Edo-39, Osun-33, Niger-31, Sokoto-23, Ondo-16, Taraba-13, Ebonyi-12, Kano-10, Abia-9
Bayelsa-8, Bauchi-7, Imo-5, Katsina-3 and
Gombe-1.
Meanwhile, 1,083 patients were successfully treated and discharged across the country.
The NCDC has stressed the need to maintain a higher index of suspension for COVID19 and adhere to all preventive measures noting that not every infected individual shows symptoms.

It emphasised the need to always wear a face mask, regular washing of hands with soap under running water and Coughing/ sneezing into ones elbow.
