The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed additional 1,386 cases of the novel Coronavirus in the country moving the total confirmed cases to 114,691.
In an early-morning tweet on Thursday, the health agency said the new cases were recorded in 22 states across the country.
According to the NCDC , additional 14 people lost their lives to the virus on Wednesday even as the death toll moved to 1,478 deaths.
From the new cases confirmed on Wednesday, Lagos recorded 476 new cases followed by Rivers with 163 new cases.

Other regions with new cases include the FCT (116), Kaduna (114), Oyo (68), Plateau (62), Ogun (56), Imo (55), Osun (55), Edo (51), Anambra (50), Kwara (44), Kano (17), Ebonyi (14), Cross River (10), Delta (10), Jigawa (8), Bayelsa (6), Ekiti (6), Borno (2), Taraba (2), and Zamfara (1).
Additional 1,136 people were discharged on Wednesday with the total discharged cases moving to 92,336 ,the discharges include 626 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.”
